Mat Pilates is a low-impact, highly effective method of training to build strength and stability in your core, which spans from your hips to your shoulders. Mat Pilates borrows from disciplines such as dance, yoga and classic calisthenics using controlled and fluid movements to build long, lean, strong muscles to support your spine & overall strength.
All Levels welcome! This class will offer advancements & modifications to meet you where you are, regardless of your experience level with yoga or pilates!

Join us for a FREE Community Yoga Class at the Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library in Downtown Clayton for a Moon + Stars themed Yoga Flow to celebrate the library's summer reading program “A Universe of Stories.”
This 45min class is suitable for All Levels and is open to the public!! Bring a friend for a wonderful time celebrating yoga & books! Practice will include Sun Salutations, standing, seated & floor postures for a well-rounded and accessible yoga flow! Emphasis is placed on alignment & breath to create a moving meditation. You'll leave feeling refreshed, renewed & restored!
A Yoga Mala is an ancient yogic tradition consisting of 108 sun salutations and usually takes place during the change of the seasons. This class will take place in downtown Clayton's Town Square & is free to the public - donations to Yoga Medicine's Seva Foundation are graciously accepted if you feel inspired to give! Join us in this moving meditation as we reconnect with our community, nature, our breath and our pure intentions.

60-minute yoga class is suitable for all levels. The yoga postures are designed to flow together harmoniously with the intention of connecting breath to movement in a vinyasa (yoga flow). This class explores the foundations of a vinyasa (or flow) practice, with a strong focus on connection between breath and body through mindful movement. Poses include sun salutations, standing postures, balancing postures and floor postures thoughtfully sequenced in a movement based practice.

Sound healing with crystal singing bowls is a non-invasive way to help restore balance. Enjoy the ancient practice of Yoga combined with Stand Up Paddle Boarding! These classes take your favorite yoga routines and put them on the water! Both yoga & stand up paddle boarding are great for building balance, coordination, endurance, and strength. This fun class begins with a short lesson on paddle basics followed by floating yoga, then open paddle before returning to shore. Students will enjoy paddling to a quiet spot on the lake, anchoring their board and beginning their floating yoga session with Pranayama (breath). Every class is uniquely different with stretch, spinal balance, and a variety of yoga poses ending with Savasana (resting pose). Modifications will be shared to accomodate All Levels from beginners to advanced! Bring a friend to share this amazing experience combining yoga with nature!!
